Yes, they were recording the song and someone suggested it needed a guitar.
Terry Brown called me to come in. They put a score in front of me, although I
had completed the full Conservatory piano course and knew notation, I had never
learned guitar tablature! I did know Hall of the Mountain King though and just
jammed along best I could. They used the first take I think, although we did
two. Great musicianship all around me, might have been intimidating but I was
young and was just happy to be playing in a real studio!
