"West Coast Saga" was 1974...from Cochrane's second solo album 'Hang On To Your
Resistance'....whereas "Sail On" was recorded and released in 1976 with "West
Coast Saga" tacked on as the flipside. A total coincidence that the two songs
appeared on "Naturally..." together back in '74.

John co-wrote Marvello with Dino Tome. Their combined psuedonym was listed as
CHIP DALE (a play on the Disney chipmunk characters Chip & Dale) for the early
material -- including the 1973 7" version of 'Sub-Rosa Subway'. That name also
appeared in the trademark documents in the Library of Congress for the first
album along with the fake names Ed Norton (Art Carney's character in 'The
Honeymooners'), plus Helen Benson and LM Carpenter -- both taken from the movie
'The Day The Earth Stood Still' as a means to confuse any sleuths trying to
figure out who the REAL Klaatu members were.
When the band's secret identity was finally blown, their songwriting credits
would be listed properly as Woloschuk/Tome.
