Personally I don't think vinyl is still a pretty amazing way to experience
an album. I recently have been listening to cd and then vinyl of the same
album and it is so different! Particularly when it comes to artwork and the
20 minute per side format. It's a totally different journey.

You guys have probably realised this before but it's a reasonably new
experience for me having only recently acquired a turntable again.

:)

Marc,

In Canada, audio files are at 320kbps for both Sirius and XM (still two
separate entities in this country).

the fidelity is compromised (compared to HD). But my question is: What is
the 'quality' of the mp3 file that is being used by HD stations. Or for that
matter, by SiriusXM? If they are just standard 128 files, then what is the
point of added fidelity?
