BMW verdient im dritten Quartal deutlich weniger

Toyota hebt Jahresprognose an
Toyota hat seinen Nettogewinn in der ersten Hälfte des aktuellen
Geschäftsjahres gesteigert: Zwischen April und September verzeichnete der
Autoherstelker unter dem Strich einen Ertrag von 1,07 Billionen Yen (acht
Milliarden Euro). Das entspricht einem Zuwachs von 13,2 Prozent gegenüber dem
Vorjahreszeitraum. Der Umsatz legte um 8,6 Prozent auf 14,2 Billionen Yen zu.
Toyota erwartet nun für das Gesamtgeschäftsjahr 1,95 Billionen Yen Gewinn statt

Tesla-Händler schrauben selbst
Um die Produktionskapazitäten zu steigern, sollen Tesla-Händler künftig selbst

Schaeffler baut US-Standort aus
Die Schaeffler-Gruppe hat den Standort Wooster im US-Bundesstaat Ohio

BMW earned significantly less in the third quarter
BMW was slowed down in the third quarter by its markedly weaker sales and high
capital expenditures, thus earning 1.8 percent less than a year prior. Earnings
before interest and taxes decreased by 3.2 percent year-on-year to 2.3 billion
euros, which is less than what analysts had expected. For the full year, BMW
now expects sales of its automotive division to increase by only 5 percent -
previously, the automaker had expected sales to grow by 5 to 10 percent.

Toyota raises full-year forecast
Toyota recorded a net profit increase for the first half of the current fiscal
year: between April and September, the automaker posted a net profit of 1.07
trillion yen (around 8 billion euros), which represents a 13.2 percent
year-on-year increase. Sales grew by 8.6 percent to 14.2 trillion yen. Toyota
now expects a profit of 1.95 trillion yen for the full fiscal year, up from

Tesla dealers install parts themselves

Schaeffler expands US location
Schaeffler Group has enlarged its Wooster site in Ohio. The company invested
approximately 60 million dollars in new production space, a distribution center

Osram and Continental plan joint venture
Osram will enter a joint venture with Continental. The company, called Osram
Continental, will manufacture lighting products for vehicles, aiming for 2018
sales in the €500 million range. The joint venture will combine

Plastics manufacturer Covestro and Chinese company Haier have extended their
