BMW erwartet 2018 konzernweites Absatzplus
Der Konzernabsatz von BMW werde in diesem Jahr weltweit um bis zu fünf Prozent
zulegen, wie Finanzvorstand Nicolas Peter am 15. Januar auf der Automesse in
Detroit sagte. Ihm zufolge wird der Konzernabsatz 2018 in China zwischen fünf

PSA Peugeot Citroën hat seinen Absatz dank Zuwächsen in Übersee und der
Übernahme von Opel im Vorjahresvergleich kräftig um 15,4 Prozent auf 3,6
Millionen Fahrzeuge gesteigert. Dabei habe der Konzern auch von seiner starken
Stellung im Mittleren Osten und Afrika sowie in Südamerika profitiert, teilte

FCA-Chef hat keine Zerschlagungspläne
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne hat auf der Detroiter Automesse
gesagt, er habe keinerlei Absicht, das Unternehmen zu zerschlagen. Er betonte,
dass die SUV-Marke Jeep den Nettogewinn von FCA verdoppeln könnte, und dass das
Unternehmen anpeile, 2018 zwei Millionen Fahrzeuge zu verkaufen. Marchionne
räumte ein, Jeep und die Lkw-Marke Ram seien einzeln stark genug, was jedoch

Schaeffler übertrifft die eigenen Erwartungen
Schaeffler hat 2017 stärker zugelegt als erwartet und seinen Umsatz
währungsbereinigt um 5,9 Prozent auf 14 Milliarden Euro erhöht. Der Konzern hat
somit seine Wachstumsprognose von vier bis fünf Prozent deutlich übertroffen.
Dazu hätten das wichtige Autogeschäft sowie die Industriesparte beigetragen, so

Panasonics Pläne für seine futuristische Smart City
Panasonic will mit der Stadt Denver im US-Bundesstaat Colorado die zweite Smart

BlackBerry bezeichnet sein neues Cybersicherheits-Produkt Jarvis als

Die cloudbasierte, binärcodescannende Lösung identifiziert Schadstellen in

BMW's company-wide sales are projected to grow by five percent this year, said

Fiat Chrysler boss says no plans to break up company

Schaeffler surpasses its own expectations
Schaeffler performed better than expected in the past fiscal year, with the
company's revenue increasing by 5.9 percent to €14 billion after adjusting for
exchange rate effects. As Schaeffler had expected an increase by 4-5 Percent,
the supplier's results surpassed its own expectations. The two divisions -
Automotive and Industry - contributed to this positive development, the company
announced, adding that it is confident to see a further increase in 2018.

Panasonic's plans for its futuristic smart city
Panasonic wants to create the world's second smart city in Denver, Colorado.
While it is not officially specified what a "smart city" is, its
