Optimierte Armaturenbretter können Herstellern laut der Unternehmensberatung
Roland Berger Einsparungen von bis zu 175 Dollar pro Fahrzeug einbringen.
Visteon ließ verlauten, dass man bereits mit europäischen und chinesischen
Autoherstellern Gespräche über die Kontrolleinheit führe. Das Unternehmen

Visteon baut neuen Technologiestandort in Karlsruhe aus
Visteon Electronics Germany hat den Spatenstich für den Bau eines neuen
Technologiestandortes in Karlsruhe gefeiert, der Platz für etwa 400 Mitarbeiter
bieten soll. Der Einzug ist für Mitte des Jahres 2018 geplant. Jens Tillner,

Conti zeigt lautsprecherlose Audiotechnik
Continental hat seine lautsprecherlose Technik Ac2ated Sound vorgestellt. Dem
Unternehmen zufolge hat das lautsprecherlose Audiosystem einige Vorteile
gegenüber der herkömmlichen Technologie, etwa ein deutlich reduziertes Gewicht
und einen geringeren Stromverbrauch bei exzellenter Akustik. Im Rahmen einer

Danfoss eröffnet modernes Werk in Tallahassee
Danfoss hat offiziell das neue Labor im Innovation Park in Tallahassee,
Florida, eröffnet. Das Zentrum für Anwendungsentwicklung soll Lösungen für den

Time matters at Opel
Karl-Thomas Neumann has resigned as Opel CEO, but will remain part of the
management until the Opel/Vauxhall sale to PSA Group is completed. July 31 is
regarded as the first possible date for completion, since the deal to integrate
Opel into PSA still needs to be approved by competition authorities. Former CFO

Continental has introduced its speakerless technology Ac2ated Sound. According
to the company, the speakerless audio system has several advantages compared to

Danfoss opens state-of-the-art facility in Tallahassee
Danfoss has officially opened its new laboratory at the Innovation Park in
