I'm not sure what the protocol is for bringing an idea forward to the club, so
forgive me if this is politically incorrect. Also, I'm not sure how much money
is in the club war chest, but my thought is that perhaps the club could
purchase a spool of coax and members could buy from the club. For example, I'm
looking for 3 or 4 X 100 foot lengths of coax, which would cost me
approximately $ 1.00 per foot on my own. If the club purchased a spool, I'm
sure the cost would be substantially less and perhaps the savings could be
shared among members.
Just a thought, maybe if there is enough support for the idea, I could bring a
motion forward at the next meeting on Tuesday the 6th of September.
