The Ottawa Amateur Radio Club (OARC) is pleased to announce its 19th Annual
Hamfest!
The OARC Hamfest is the premier Hamfest in Eastern Ontario with many
commercial and private vendors. Commercial vendors from previous years
included: Radio World, Durham Radio, Macfarlane Electronics Ltd
and Maple Leaf Communications. The OARC Hamfest is held at the W Erskine
Johnston Arena in Carp Ontario (3882 Carp Rd,) approximately 20 kilometres
west of Downtown Ottawa. Next door, and open at the same time is the
popular Carp Farmersâ Market.
This year our Hamfest will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015; this is
the weekend immediately following Labour Day. Full details are found in the
attached flyer.
We would appreciate it very much if you could make an announcement at your
next Club meeting, reminding your members and guests of this special event.
