He doing first year M.Sc ( CS ) in Nandhanam Arts & Science College ,
Chennai.
Arduino
Today I explained about Arduino Board and how to integrate board and arduino
software (IDE) using arduino 0017 .
How To create new OS ?
UCK
I showed live demo on , how to customise our ubuntu using UCK ( Ubuntu
Customisation Kit ) .
using UCK , we can customise ubutnu OS and make it as installable one.
Then i showed Kanchi Lug OS Testing 0.001 DVD , which installed many
necessary packages in single dvd , by default .
Mysql , Ruby, Python , Compiz , Build-essential , ubuntu-restriced-extras ,
Gnokii , Multi-Media, etc.,
Likewise we customised all the necessary packages into a single DVD and we
installed in 3 systems ( two days before , working perfectly )
( we planned to release our Kanchi Lug OS on december month [image: :-)]
)
Remastersys
Using remastersys also we can create iso image from our own system
filesystem .
we can make backup iso with users folder .
Very nice tools..
( Likewise we have many tool kits to make or customise our linux os ).
Python
Today , Selvamani gave a brief introduction to Python with live demo !
