18. From Haven to Home: 350 Years of Jewish Life in America

    in the United States, the Library of Congress created this
    exhibition featuring more than 200 items from its Judaica
    collection. The items portray the Jewish experience from
    immigration and acculturation to discrimination, acceptance, and

    to the Newport Hebrew Congregation, General Grant's edict banning

37. White Shark Research

    Background information and updates on the Monterey Bay Aquarium's
    research on great white sharks. This California aquarium placed a
    shark on exhibit in September 2004 after it was "caught
    accidentally in a commercial fishing net in Southern California."
    It is "the only white shark on exhibit in the world." Provides
