NSBE-AEDC: Computer Science/Programming

       Hello Parents/Guardians, Teachers, etc,

       The Dept of Computer Science at the University of Maryland,
College Park, is sponsoring a program this Spring (2007), for middle and
high school students interested in computer science/computer
programming.  This program is offered at no cost to the student. Three
high school classes (beginners, intermediate, advanced) and one middle
school class are offered. Information about the program (including
online application form) can be found at the program's web site:

       Application deadline is January 31, 2007.

       If you can pass along this information to students, teachers, or
anyone interested, I would appreciate it a lot.  If you are a
middle/high school teacher, and you would like me to do a presentation
about the program, just e-mail me to coordinate a visit.
