nice, I like little fun things!
also, I think search could be under one of the other sections, under
articles or linkage since its not one of the main reasons why people
will be visiting
& I think the language selection should be saved in the user account
when they sign up, (so you would only select it once) not from a drop
down.
do you need a javascript for browser detection? my friend offered one.

kris says theres one or two buttons need changing - we need a link to
downloads / music next door to the shop. perhaps we could integrate
'articles' into 'news' - nine buttons are the max with this design (also
the morse code up the top spells Justablip. i'm intending to hide little
fun things into the site like that that people can come back and find if
they want)....
