I don't believe thats necessary, especially if you have a Windows-based AV program already present and running. IMHO InoculateIT PE is suffice; its the best of the free AV software for Windows. BTW I too use InoculateIT as my Windows-resident AV program and its not a system resource hog like most of the commercial ones... My advice is to scan your whole hard drive whenever a new revision of F-Prot for DOS comes around.
