Hi Tom –

GHS (Gastineau Human Services) offers a court-approved anger management class.

JAMHI offers MRT (as well as GHS does too), and sometimes that’s been able to 
be used in place of anger management class.  It’s pretty individualized, 
however, and MRT would take FAR longer to complete than the GHS class, so 
participant motivation is a big factor there.  ☺

Hello fellow Juneau therapists.

From time to time I receive a phone call or email from someone asking if I 
offer "anger management classes''. I suspect that there is a court mandate of 
some sort behind some of these requests, but often I don't learn the details 
because I start by replying that I don't offer such classes. The closest thing 
I know of in Juneau is AWARE's JCAP batterer accountability program for men, 
https://awareak.org/jcap/ ;(which may be now called "Men at Work").

Anyone have a suggestion for additional recommendations or referrals I should 
give such a person, in Juneau or on line?
