Hi all,
The Juneau Suicide Prevention Coalition JSPC and AFSP are hosting a *Survivors
of Suicide Loss Luncheon* in recognition of International Survivors of
Suicide Loss Day on Saturday, November 20th. We will also view a short
documentary produced by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention that
offers a message of growth, resilience, and connection
If you are a loss survivor, we would love to have you join us during this
day of hope and healing. Many loss survivors who attend and participate in
Survivor Day events find a
deep connection with others who have had similar experiences, developing a
new
understanding of their grief with the realization that they are not alone.
Talking about suicide and being able to process grief in a safe environment
can be instrumental in the healing process.
If you know of suicide loss survivors, please help us to care for our
community by forwarding this invitation and attached flyer to them.
Distributing and posting this flyer on your social media is also
appreciated.
