As you know, the numbers really matter in job search. I want to bring the
numbers back in a more meaningful way than they are now, which is on paper. If
you're doubting the benefits of the numbers, don't forget that Orville Pierson
is the master and suggests that numbers will give us insight into how each team
member's job search can be revised and helped by the team. Remember that we are
better off when we make our own job search paths, and numbers are how we make
it happen.

Compared to our previous digital reports, I have simplified the data entry
process for each user by building a form that can be loaded and filled out both
on a computer and on a smart phone. Once the data is submitted, it's aggregated
and I can present it back to the team, handling all of the technical issues on
my end (which there are none because I've programmed the collection point to do
what I want it to do with the data).

In terms of how it works, team members will access the same link to submit new
data every week. My Plan is to have a printout of the data if I can make sure
everyone submits before 930. At that point, we can better track team members'
goals on a wee-to-week basis.
