In truth no. Although it would seem that speed is directly relative to weight there are other factors that ruin the direct relationship. I've tried doing this for aircraft I have the full data on and it goes beyond the basic V2=L.S.U/2.P formula. bones -----Original Message----- From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gerry Winskill Sent: 19 May 2007 09:16 To: jhb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb] V Numbers Having started to use the Falcon 2000, in FS9, I'm trying to program the Vspeed gauge. From the Dassault coverage, plus one flight test, I've managed to get a few numbers but need more. If I hav eone or two weight to V number sets, is there a way of extrapolating to other weights? To be more specific At "low" take off weight of 18000lbs, Vr = 112 and V2 = 115. Is there a way of deriving Vr and V2 for 36000lbs? At the other end, Vref for 18000lbs = 114. At 25000 Vref = 109 What would be the value at 35800; Max Landing Weight ? Gerry Winskill
