I started a flight, at sparrow f..t today, from San Diego to Honolulu. Duration was estimated at 4hrs 45 mins, not allowing for winds.

I departed at 0748 Ramsey time, so was facing a lunchtime landing. Unfortunately SWMBO decided it would be a good idea to go shopping in Douglas and that meant leaving about 11 am. Exhibiting a marked degree of LMF, I agreed, made a note of the time, saved my in flight situation and exited IVAO, just before exiting Ramsey.

Back in the house once again and I connected to IVAO and finished the flight.

Should I book the flight as having departed when I did and landed when I first connected? Should I add the two times together and derive my exact time of arrival by adding the total time to my actual departure time? Do I have to write off the entire flight? Answers on a piece of brown paper please.

BTW, Honolulu is an excellent FSX destination. My landing was to rwy 26L, where the ILS localiser (no Glideslope provided) is offset onto a heading of 308 deg, to avoid the city's high rise buildings. Once on the ground and it covers a much bigger area than Thiefrow. It's a pity that FSX's AI seems incapable of following offset approaches, ploughing on using the runway heading.
