  Fred

Don't worry,it will give you grey hairs, or none. Just take it one step at a
time. log in at Ronaldsway, or do VFR in the empty spaces of the UK.

Plenty of hints here on this list recently.

I cannot give you any online help on IVAO, whilst online, except as pilot to
pilot. On a private channel of course(Skype?)

Next week, I will be back to normal, online afternoon and evenings, nothing
on the black box to interest me.

If you have not already done so, I recommend logging into
www.fsnavigator.com, and grab the payware FSNavigator program, also the the
required database. You get 20 free goes, but worth every penny, it is a flight
planner/rolling map/TCAS etc. Been waiting for the FSX version. Not as pretty,
or involved as FSCommander, but I find it to be more flexiable.

Frank, I suspected that you had been busy lately so refrained from
contacting you so's you could get on with what you're doing that needs to be
done.Haven't done any d/ling yet cos it's out of my depth or maybe I'm not
thinking hard enough or daunted--got to be honest to myself so that the penny
drops for me. Fred

      Fred
Once I get my family out of the way, and the house straigtened out, I can
then get back to normal??
I have already printed the 76 page ATC manual, and the training ones.
Then need to print the pilot manual, and start to marry all the info.
Bones's emails are also a printout job.
Then, I will be able to start putting it into practice, so really, I am
not much further forward than you, apart from the use of the software.

p/word and spent the night going thro the left hand menu and reading.Blooming
heck if I get to know all that I shall be wanting a Degree to show for it.So I
shall be shouting out as the water gets to neck and that wont take long. That
much reading I haven't flown today so I'm going to try my VFR tour from
Wattisham to North Denes or else I'llgo rusty Tally Ho Fred

          Fred

Worry not, you have already the necessary qualifications, just paddle
slowly, and keep in touch with the controller/s, they will be happy to help,
provided it is not an online night, Tuedays I believe.

I too am wary of using IVAO myself, just that it is different
controllers, so need to get to know them, and their way of working. Not to
mention the fact that Supervisors are keeping an eye on transgressors.

to put goggles on to do abit of reading before the water starts to rise as I
walk down into it.Taking in the info is going to be like walking into cold
water before I aclimatise to it.Just reg/ed in that's all at the mo. Brrrr Fred

Hi Frank I'm keeping my eye on your mail to see how you go on
with progress in IVAO.Your point of learn abit, fly abit, learn abit more so on
seems to be my hope of managing to join in IVAO and hoping it wouldn't be an
org. too officious to reject me.I may not be very technically minded not thro
lack of want but education. But since joining JHB and the encouragement given
I'm very much loth to give in.So as IVAO'S mission statement 1.3 is
entertainment, education open to all then I'll hold them to that to have a hope

              Hi Fred,

I hope its not putting you off. The chaps here have been kind
enough to give me good advice on getting started, if you have been following
that you should pick up what you need to do. If you need any help just ask here.
