The .rar is simply another compression format, similar to .zip. You need a decent compression utility - if WinZIP doesn't handle .rar files, then get hold of, eg, IZArc or ZipGenius (I use both, on different machines). They're both free, and you can get them from http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/downloader/fwzip.html
