It's more a pre WW2 museum than just WW1 but the essential thing about OW is that most of the aircraft are airworthy. It gives the place a different atmosphere because it's got an ambience you don't get at a static museum. It's magical. Everyone needs to visit it once before they succumb to cardigans and slippers. Duxford, Yeovilton and Cosford are also essential "must go" places. bones -----Original Message----- From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Prophet Sent: 25 January 2008 19:39 To: jhb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb] Re: Aviation World exhibition - Shuttleworth oooh Shuttlworth... thats where i have been the CAA exams lately, was there nt long ago isnt therea WW1 acft museaum at Old warden?? a few of my classmates went to see it bones <bones@xxxxxxx> wrote: Sadly, thinking is as close as I'll get to it..
