What applications do you have open when you are having this problem?
Applications like Internet Explorer, Word, and Outlook should appear in the
task bar when open. If no applications are open, you will get the response
you describe.

Is there any reason why jaws would not read the task bar.
I'm running Jfw 4.51, Windows xp home, when I'm on the task bar Jaws
says"running applications task bar, to move through items press left or
right arrows". When I do I just get blank.
Please help.
