Off the top of my head, I'd check your hard drive, the drive where you keep your temporary files, to see how much free space you have. If you have enough, defined here as maybe ten gigs or more, free, then run something like Ad Aware to be sure you don't have your memory cluttered with spyware. Barring that, find out how many programs you do have running and if possibly a memory upgrade is in order.
