winmx and jfw

hi all when i use winmx 3.53 ith jfw it said search button not found when i
hit control s. Why is this? Even when i uninstalled and went back to the
other version that was on the jfw lite site it worked sometimes and other time
s it didn't . Using xp home jfw 5
