Oh yes the saving using a dectalk access32 software synthesizer uses a
lot less cpu over head a lot less memory and is more stable all around
and the response time with the access 32 is much better then with a lot
of these other software synthesizer. I highly reckamend dectalk access
32.

I don't want to buy or sell a DecTalk Express.
What I am wondering is whether anyone has compared resource utilization
as between, a Destalk Express which uses virtually no resources (or so I
am told) and, for example, Eloquence. Are the savings significant? I
know I am perfectly happy with Eloquence, but I use the DecTalk Express
at work because it (I am hoping) frees up resources for very
memory-intensive applications I tend to use. Thanks in advance!

I'll agree to that. I wanted to add, this might be a hair off topic but
if
you want to discuss the Dec Express let me know privately, offlist so as
to not
clutter it up, and I'll be glad to talk with you more about it. I've got
one
I'm looking to either sell or trade, for an external soundcard. I do
apologize
but I saw this and was in a hurry as I was leaving the office and
dropped this
off here. Thanks and take care.
