Hi, Elf, (and everybody!)
(Is that what you like to be called? It's cute!)
Anyhow, I'm using Microsoft essentials, but I keep getting some message
or other that my computer might be at risk because my antivirus program is
out of date. When I click on the button to "fix this problem" or whatever it
says, it tells me things I don't understand...
Also, recently, somehow, that McAfee thing has appeared on my computer.
Could it have come along with something else I downloaded? I noticed it
after I clicked on some thing on the nbc web site to allow me to watch some
TV thing or other.
    Any ideas?
Thanks!
Alice

*ouch, cracked open a hornets nest on this one*

ah well, its a matter of opinion out here on this, a lot of folks on a
number of lists are using Microsoft Security Essentials,

others are avast, AVG, and combinations of several other programs.

  Hello,

I am wondering, does anyone know of a good, reliable antivirus program
that works well with Jaws that is free to download off the net? Any help
with this would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks in advance.

  All the best,

  Hank Merchant
