I'm using Windows Vista and and up to date version of Mcafee. It now seems to make a sound when ever it displays it's notification screen, and then I use the JAWS cursor to find the required buttons to do whatever I need to do. The good thing with Windows Vista is that you can Alt + Tab to the desktop and the Mcafee notification screen stays on so using the JAWS cursor to find where to click is relatively easy.
