unhighlighting a web page

Hi: I'm trying to access the Pennsylvania unified judicial system which allows one to view activity in a criminal case. The site has been modified to make it virtually impossible to view individual cases because they now require you to roll the mouse over the specific case you want; however, with the help of my sonI am able to use the jaws cursor and hit the left mouse button.

I have three questions.
1. At times, I'm not able to do this because sighted assistants tell me the page is highlighted. How do I unhighlight a page? 2. is there an easier way than to use the left mouse button because currently when I place the jaws cursor on the right spot the case does not open when I simply hit the left mouse click (i.e., star,) on the numpad.
3. Should I route jaws to pc rather than using the jaws cursor?
Any help would be appreciated. John Fioravanti

Just to see if other ways of going to another URL work out the same way, has he tried forgoing the Control O method and instead just entering the address bar by pressing Alt D or F4, and then typing the URL he wants? Then pressing
Enter, of course. Or Alt Enter, which in IE 7 would get a new tab page
without replacing the first web page from which he's starting? I can't guess
what's causing his admittedly puzzling experience, but it's possible that
opening the new site in this way, either with or without the use of the Alt
key, might yield a different result. Or maybe not. But it would seem worth
experimenting with.

Often if you jusgt close the blank page, the actual page of info just
magically appears.

Hello:

I have a client who is a JAWS user, running JFW 9.0, Windows XP
Professional with Internet Explorer 7. He's got a very peculiar
problem.

When he brings up IE, then does ctrl+o and types in a website he wants
to visit followed by enter, he hears "New Browser Window." This is
followed by a blank screen. He never gets to the website he's trying to
get too.

He turned the pop-up blocker on and this did not make a difference. He
had a program called Igoogle and has removed it from add/remove
programs. He does not have the Google tool bar installed.

Does anyone have any other ideas of things he can check? Is there a
setting in IE7 that may be causing this behavior?

Thanks in advance,
