Hi again :) you can use the laptop function key in combination with the numpad embeded in the keyboard; usually the 7,8 and 9 are the same and others to the down. i know that it is not as easy as the true numpad. cheers Hamid PS: you can turn the keyboard help on by pressing the jaws key + 1and then find out a lot about your keyboard by trying the keys and their combinations. ----- Original Message ----- From: Malaina VanderWal To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2010 12:02 AM Subject: re: some of my issues with jaws I know what the up down left right arrows are for. I do not have a desk top so using the numb pad isn't an option for me. I should have stated that I used a laptop. My keyboard layout is laptop. I do not have a USB or bluetooth keyboard. When I have used the up and down arrows in windows mail and in word 2003 or in note pad it has been to get jaws to focus on what I need it to do. The left and right arrows are the same way. I just want jaws to read properly and to not skip. From now on I will try and only post one problem per email. But since the email and documents issues is pretty much the same issue I thought I could send this. Malaina
