seeking reliable means easier log in using I D number on web pages with JAWS versions 5

Hi,
I need to log onto web pages using a serial or I D number.
When I do this, I hear the annoying "no more headings" and cannot enter the
number
until I hit backspace to get to beginning of the same field again.
Is there a simple keystroke for correcting this likethegreat toggle to
enable the "s" command--I mean something really simple
so the number is entered without JAWS verbage about headings I could
really care less about.
Is there a toggle for turning those headings "off" or are we talking about a
configuring action?
