Hi Peter,
I can confirm that using jaws 12.0.522, if I'm in the search box in IE8, the
shortcut ctrl+down arrow to open the menu doesn't work. There are a couple of
work arounds for this bug:
1. if there's no text in the search box, you can press tab to move to the split
button, and then press down arrow to open the menu.
2. Whether or not there's text in the search box, you can use the jaws pass
through key insert+3 before pressing ctrl+down arrow.

Glad to hear that you've made FS aware about this,
David.

original message:
Hi, does anybody else find that they can’t access the drop down menu when in
the search box in Internet Explorer 8. Works fine with JAWS 11, just not 12.
I’ve had this problem on a couple of computers. I’ve made FS aware. At the
moment the only way to change the options is by going in to internet Options
and changing it in there.  Peter
