You only have to worry about the very next one down the list and delete
themessage right after.
Less hassle than unnecessary keystrokes.

Let's not include the message which we are applying to in our messages. This can result in pages and pages of post. Either take the part which you are replying to out of the original message or paraphrase what you are replying to.
