There are 2 versions. The gold version is the paid version with ripping and
burning capabilities and listening to a number of streams which seem to require
radio passes. The standard version is free and you can listen to a few streams
gratis and play DVD's and a few other things. The free version seems to be more
limited than it used to be.
The paid version allows you to download songs at 79 cents each and you get 2
free songs per month. The paid version also has some 200 games--most of which
are not likely very accessible to the vision-impaired.
Both versions allow you to check what file types you wish to allow it to play.
The free version does have a 14-day free trial period that includes all the
features but you have to give a credit card number and if by the end of the 14
days you have not cancelled your subscription, you will automatically be
billed.
Once you have found a station it can be bookmarked--saved in favourites or in
radio stations. Finally, i did find it quite accessible and was able to set it
up myself though I will need some practice to become proficient and maybe a
little sighted help would help in that process also.
