Holding down the control key enables links when you're in a message. If you're using MS Word as your email editor, then you can turn off this feature by going to Tools->Options. Then choose the Edit tab, and uncheck the box labeled "Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink". One or the other of these solutions will hopefully fix your problem. :-) HTH, Tom Hesley -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Carlos Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2008 8:16 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: plain text message in out look 2003 and jaws 9 Hi listers, I have jaws 9.0 and outlook 2003. I'm trying to read a plain text message from a company that has lots of links. When I open it jaws says click here to turn links for your security they have been turned off in this plain text message. When I get to a link it says something like less than link and the link name, When I press enter it just makes a bong sound. How can I turn on these links. Also I'm having this problem with window eyes 6.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Carlos No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
