outlook view settings verify

Using jaws 6, office xp, calendar, I notice the insert-control-d for read
current date, only works in week view. If one picks day, nothing is spoken.
If work week is chosen, the wrong date is spoken. Only week works correctly
. These 3 different setting are under the view menu. Does anyone else see
this problem?
