You'll need your xp cd for the second part of this. In ad/remove programs,
go to ad/remove windows components. Make sure that only outlook express is
checked. This is tough to do because the checkboxes seem to be unreliable
with jaws. Click ok and let windows remove outlook express. Go back to
ad/remove windows components and again, make sure that outlook express is
the only thing checked and click ok. When/if asked, put in your windows cd
and outlook express will be reinstalled. You will have to find and
reinstate all your data points for outlook express, but once you've done
that, it should work fine. If it is a corrupted folder or something though,
you may have to do some fancy footwork to get it to work. If I can be of
help, contact me off list at:

Subject: outlook express has dyed

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has had this problem recently and can advise me on
it.

I am using windows xp, with jfw 5.0

I can't seem to get outlook express to read at all for me. It was
working just fine one day, and now it's just dead. Luckily I have
Microsoft outlook,
but I'm at a loss as to how to fix this problem as I feel more
comfortable on outlook express. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
