Judith,
This handy new feature of the Jaws Find, that it now has a history list
that you can either use as you describe, or set not to be active, or delete
items from, is explained in things I've read from Freedom Scientific about
Jaws 8. Most features new to Jaws 8 are there to be discovered and learned
about in the usual places, most importantly, as usual, in the Jaws Help
menus under the What's New heading. It would be very helpful for more people
to be aware of this and be able to deliberately teach themselves how to use
the program as it evolves. The new features are also described and explained
in their own page of the Jaws section of the Freedom Scientific Web site.

Hope this helps.

Subject: observation about clip board

I'm not re-opening a very long thread but wanted to share some innformation
that I discovered about the clipboard. Let's say that two finds ago you
were looking for the name "Susan". After that you were looking for the word
"cat" and right after that you were searching for the phrase "Went to the
store". On your next search you can arrow up and down to find the word
"Susan" and, if this is what you want to search for, you can press enter and
will land on that name. Judith
