new releases of jaws

Ok so all the talk about new releases of jaws. We hear that there will be a
new release of jaws in October. 6.0 or something like that. What will that
release address? Isn't there supposed to be a release of 5.1 soon and what
issues will that address? Just curious to see why there is going to be 2
releases so close together. Or maybe there isn't.
