Hi, the check box your referring to on the security page of outlook express options; do not allow attachments to be saved or opened which could potentially be a virus, checked or unchecked, well, if you don't want to allow your computer to receive attachments, then you would want the box checked. Conversely, if you would like to receive attachments, the checkbox in question needs to be unchecked. if, someone sent you an attachment, and you have the box checked, and, you enter on the message, and press, insert A, you will hear, no attachments found, that's because they are blocked. performing the same action with box unchecked, jaws should announce, the attachment for you.
