I'm not sure I understand; you muted yur microphone? That keeps it from
registering any sound.

i need your help with a problem,
my microphone is not being recorded with my soundblaster audigy 1 sound card
i checked the recording volume and play back to make sure they were both at
100 percent and that playback through my microphone was muted but nothing is
happening
please help!
soundblaster audigy 1 dc00 i believe is the name of the sound card.
