need a bandwidth monitor

hello list.
i am hoping someone on the list can help out here.
as the subject line describes, i am wanting to use a bandwith monitor.
more specifically, a monitor that tells me how much i have uploaded and
downloaded in a given time.
i understand there are free programs out there, but i am hoping that someone on
here uses one and can tell me it is easy to use with jaws.
i am running jaws 11 and windows 7 ultimate,.
all help is greatly appreciated.
