Hello, You say it's only happening with certain files? JAWS does definitely have some problems with the say all command. A really easy way to read, I've found, especially in Braille, is to go to Web Page Preview under the File menu and read it as a web page. Org Subject: ms word, say all and some scanned books `hi. I have an unusual problem with a few books I scanned. I saved them as word documents, but when I read them using say all, they read just fine for a few pages, and then suddenly I can only read one sentence at a time. it's happened with jaws 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 now. I use Windows me and word 2000. I don't see anything obvious that's causing the problem. There aren't any funny symbols or anything. I've tried all of the say all settings and I have trouble with all of them, but only on about three books so far that I've tried to read in ms word. I'm curious why that happens. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
