David, This isn't a problem, it's an option within the spell check which has been turned on. The message is replacing the more usual "the spelling and grammar check is complete", and means that the spell check has found no errors in the document. If you prefer the more usual report at the end of a spell check, the easiest way to do this is to create a document with a deliberate misspelling, start a spell check and as soon as the dialogue pops up, Tab to and press the Options button. On the next dialogue that appears, Tab to the checkbox labelled "Show readability statistics" and uncheck it. OK the dialogue to return to the spell check dialogue, which you can cancel. From now on the usual message will appear to tell you when a spell check has done.
