Hi I'm not a VIP user but It doesn't surprise me at all. CD baby took blind access away last year when they changed ownership. I personally think they did it intentionally to. They said they lost some of the data and that's why flash had to be used. Now a user can no longer review, preview or even contact artists from the site. These idiots said well why don't you call us if you want to buy? as if by magic we are going to buy music we've never heard? No movement on this topic since Donna Hill published an article quoting me and several artists I had contacted. The GSN channel isn't accessible at least as far as playing the games and winning prises like our sighted friends. I've been screaming about that for years. Ever try pandora? There is an HTML work around on that site. To set up an account just go to _www.pandora.com/backstage_ (http://www.pandora.com/backstage) . You should be able to set up an account that way. when you get to it all you have to do to get to your profile is to type thatURL then after the slash just add the word people then another slash then your screen name which is the same as your email So if you want to look at my profile there and listen to my favorite stations just go to www/pandora.com/people/kenlawrence124 You'll see links for several stations. Another great site is Last dot FM You should hear the library I have built on that. I have over 1500 artists on that site in my library. That's why I can proudly say, "I don't have to show you any stinking Jack FM" Huh? It's easy to set up an account. I'm going to send a copy of this digest to a couple Live 365 DJS and se if I can get movment on this. Just because there are alternatives to Live 365 doesn't mean we shouldn't push until it gives. Saying we won't participate isn't going to do it because if blind are too few and too small a minority for them to keep uss and if that is acceptable listeners not to have, if blind are an expendable listener base to them a Boycott sure won't get their attention Huh? That's seems to be the indifferent thinking of these sites. In a message dated 8/14/2010 5:58:19 A.M. I haven't been on the site in several weeks, and when I went on yesterday, I was quite horrified to see that they seemed to have updated the site, and are now using much more flash, it seems, than they have in the past. Here are a few things I no longer seem able to do that I could do perfectly well in the past.: Add currently playing tracks to my Wish List Find out which album the currently playing track comes from adjust my volume control for music or content playing Also, the player use to open up in a new browser window, whether I was using Firefox or IE. Now it seems to open in a flash player in the same window, using a flash player whose contents I can no longer entirely access. If any of you are also utilizing this service, are you now experiencing similar issues? If so, have you figuring out any way to resolve them? I just realized while typing this that maybe I could check on my "Listen" settings, to see if something in there I could modify may assist with the issues I'm now having. So I'll check that. I'm just rather frustrated with this, since I'm a paying member of this site, and it use to work perfectly well for me. *sigh* Using the latest version of Jaws 10, BTW. Happy weekend, everyone.
