Hi: Try using the prompt creator instead of graphics labeler. To create a prompt: 1. Move to the control for which the prompt is not properly spoken. 2. Press CTRL+INSERT+TAB. 3. A dialog box appears to walk you through the creation of the prompt. On the first page, enter the prompt for the control as you want JAWS to speak it, and then select Next. 4. On the second page, enter the prompt for the control as you want JAWS to display it in Braille, and then select Next. 5. On the third page, specify a Tutor message to provide assistance with navigation or the use of this control. If you leave the Tutor message blank, the default message is used. Select Finish to create your prompt. Note: You can also press INSERT+F2 to open the Run JAWS Manager dialog and select Prompt Create from the list to create a prompt, in jaws 8 it is called custom lael. If you wish to change a prompt you have assigned, just press CTRL+INSERT+TAB again and change the labels you entered. There are many edit fields and these fields are labeled with numbers. I wish to know if I could label those numbers so that it would make life easier knowing which edit field is which. is it possible to do that with jaws like you can label graphics? By the way, I press tab to move through the different edit fields. Your help would be appreciated. regards,
