I have a Del desktop at home which at any time at all when you're writing (there's no pattern to this) will put in an accent grave when writing apostrophe, a capital e acute when writing a question mark and usually a quote when writing an @ sign. I attribute this to not doing a full reformat of my computer earlier, when I needed it, only doing a quick format which solved my initial problem but created this one. the quick format was great in the sense that it kept my JAWS key and many of my settings on the C-drive, which I wasn't expecting. I am also expeiriencing this problem at work with the keyboard, and I know that XP Pro had been recently imaged onto that machine (so put over top of an existing operating system). I believe this to be the cause of my problem, but thought I would check with the list before I went to the drastic step of reformatting my home machine. note: at home I am using JAWS 8.0, and at work JAWS 6.20.
