kazaa keeps saying new search unavailable

Hello gang.
i just downloaded one of the version of kazaa from the jfw list.
i am trying to figure out why for the life of me whenever i am trying to do a
search it keeps saying new search unavailable.
Am i not connected at all?
When i routed my jaws to pc it just says connecting.......
any help is appreciated. Thanks. Randy
