Hi there,
I also have a home built using an Athlon XP processor and have no
abnormal problems with JAWS. These obscure problems seem to be really
random. Some folks have all manner of grief and others don't. I am sure
there is some rhyme and reason but, so far, it is not self evident.

well that shoots my theory as far as processors.
The only problem that I still have is that it doesn't read all sub
menus. I always use AMD processors and have home built computers.

Hi All,
I am just wondering if the new 6.1 problems are Freedom problems or
computer/processor problems? A few days back there was some posts that
when a new hardware device is added the authorization is lost. As I
mentioned I have a friend in the PC repair business. He told me that
every time he works on a particular brand he loses the windows
authorization. It is because of the way that the manufacturer installs
the operating system. Now I am reading where some people are having 6.1
problems and others are not. I am having a few problems and use the AMD
processor. It would be very interesting to see if the problems are based
on Intel or AMD processors. Lenny http://www.geocities.com/lenny_mchugh/
