Gery, I had close to the same thing happen, but 6.10 crashed my system, and
since I don't use the voice synth, I have no idea what the error was. So I
had to go back to 6.0 and do a repair, and everything was fine again. This
happened on my Win 98 Se system at home. But at work, on the Win 2000 system
that I use, the transition to 6.10 went fine.

Subject: jfw 6.10 and 6.10u

I am using 6.0 with no problems. I tried to use 6.10 and got an error about
a usb driver. I also lost braille. I then went back to 6.0 and all was
good. I tried to move to the 6.10u version and the same things happened
again. No braille and an error about a usb driver.
