Thanks,  Grant, Your comments as in saying that  JAWS stops speaking at a
new paragraph  makes sense as  JAWS stops speaking upon entering certain
fields  in Word X P when up  arrowing.
This  happens  only with
Word  X P and 5.0884 and  no other JAWS  version except that one.
I  tried in vain to explain to F S Tech Support at
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and must say  that when JAWS stops speaking the computer hasn't crashed at
all.
